Allama Iqbal Biogrphy

Mohammad Iqbal commonly known as Allam Iqbal (1877-1938), was born in Sialkot. Allama Muhammad Iqbal is the national poet of Pakistan because the ideology of Pakistan is associated with him. He belonged to a Brahmin family long descendant in Kashmir. He joined Scottish Mission School and got his early education in Urdu, Persian, and Arabic. Later on, he joined MAO college Lahore and also Trinity college.

He got the degree of MA in Philosophy. Later on, he went abroad and acquired the degree of Bar-at-Law. From there, he set for Germany and completed his PhD in the Development of Metaphysics in Persia. Allama Iqbal was a man of versatile personality. He was a teacher, philosopher, lawyer, politician, poet, and author.

Service for Muslims

Muhammad Iqbal rendered a great service for the freedom of the People of the Sub-continent. He was against the British Rule in Hindustan and wanted to liberate them. Therefore, after completing his education, he returned back India and joined politics, and he wrote very motivational and encouraging poetry.

Allama Iqbal knew English, Urdu, Arabic, Persian, and German languages. He was well-read in different branches of learning. He is known as the poet-philosopher. The Muslim Ummah and shallowness of European progress. He introduced the Philosophy of Khudi (Self- Recognition).
